How different do the graphics actually look from the New Gen to Old Gen?

Curious to see the amount of the details they have to leave out for old-gen consoles. The newer gens have to have superb spot on graphics for it, but I don't know how much different it'd look over XBOX 360 version, say.

Anyone have any input?
