I hope this is in the right category, I'm looking to get a team that can help me with this project. I was thinking it could be a multiplayer game for PC with new customization options. Please someone reply and tell me what you think! :)

Try making one using the Source engine. I believe you can easily make a Halo mod using the engine.

That would be an interesting project. Make a free open source engine to run it and just code it how you want with the spins you want. I'm sure the entire scripting code is out there somewhere for the game anyways.

Not exactly a custom fan-made venue, but the El Dorito mod for Halo Online lets you bypass it's region locks and relive the glory days of Halo 3.
