Thoughts?
Looks amazing. I do not like the ADS but I guess it's what everyone else is doing. The public event thing is cool, that is the MMO type aspect I guess. I get a Borderlands feel from this game. Still very interested.

I tuned in while they were in the middle of playing the demo, and I thought, "Wow, that looks a lot like Halo." There are a ton of similarities, which is a good thing, but it seems almost too similar. It reminds me of a mix of Halo, a little bit of Call of Duty, and Borderlands--all of which I like. I'm not really sold on the trailer alone, but the gameplay looks very interesting.

There is a commitment to your character it seems. I see the Halo comparison but this is much larger than anything Halo has ever attempted. The loot is there as you mentioned from Borderlands. I would really love to see what deathmatch will be about. Will there be an even ground deathmatch or are you taking the character you build into it the way it is?

I agree with everything here. Destiny is shaping up to be a great game, and thus, a great franchise. I have a feeling Bungie will have us in awe just like playing Halo CE the first time.

Yeah, I hope so. I definitely intend on playing it, but I won't necessarily be first in line to pick up a copy. I got into the Halo franchise a bit late, but I like to be on top of things in terms of excellent games.
