Which is scarier: HIVE or FALLEN?

I have to say HIVE because of their ability to cut in and out space. Though, fallen could be argued to have a more militarized command hierarchy, I just don't find them naturally scary. They're too "Convenant-esque" to the HIVE being more like "The Flood" and alien species like that...

so thoughts?
